Luckily enough, he doesn't lose his memories when the day resets and he will have to use the knowledge gained in his successive attempts in order to plan ahead and achieve his goal. The only thing Colt can do to escape from Blackreef and break the temporal loop is to get rid of every inhabitant of the island before the day ends. Every night, everything on the island returns to the situation it was the morning before, and the inhabitants lose all memories of what happened. Deathloop is a first-person shooter in which two assassins, Colt and Julianna Blake, are trapped in a time loop on an isolated island called Blackreef.
